Despite rain being forecast things don't look too bad right now. Currently it is sunny, though it will probably rain later. Temperatures expected to go up to 16-17 degrees C. No perceptible wind.

We are at a boot sale - yesterday everything was rained off, so we're making up for it today.
I must say, Barry, you do well for boot sales and charity shops down your way. I bet regular shops barely get a look in We do have quite a lot of charity shops but they rarely have anything worth buying. I think we have just one car boot sale within ten miles, and it won't be on in this weather.

Spent a very enjoyable few hours with the family at the Mid Suffolk Light Railway https://www.mslr.org.uk/visit-us/#event-16548 and its annual 40’s weekend with lots of WW2 vehicles, equipment and people dressed up. Weather held out - sunny spells and around 16c. Now back home and the clouds are looking menacing.

Well we did moderately well at the first boot sale, and did better at the second one today.

The weather is becoming changeable, but no sign of rain yet.

Still no rain here either. Forecast now says it will happen at 1600 and only for an hour.

    Also it's warmer than predicted.

They're still going with rain all day tomorrow. I can see why, you're on fairly safe ground predicting it will rain round here, at least at some point in the day.

An ex-collegue at work and his wife used to go along to 40's style dances. They wore all the appropriate apparel for such occasions.

After hearing "What it Feels Like For a Girl" on Madonna's Music album, I thought I'd dig out the video for it. Not seen it for a couple of decades. I think she really suits her hair in a bob

I was Madonna mad as a teenager, I had posters of her on every square inch of my bedroom, including the ceiling!

Anyway, back to the weather - I had planned on a Bank Holiday BBQ, but bailed due to the forecast and went with the air fryer option - just as well I did, as we had a monsoon an hour ago although now we are back to sunny spells
