I think you might Adrian. Recorded at Real World studios, which is something to do with Peter Gabriel.
I'll be honest, I picked this and three other CDs (including the one pictured below) for pennies at a car boot a couple of years ago. Never got round to playing them. Then yesterday I had a bit of a CD cull, as I'm running out of storage space, and having them piled up on the floor would drive me mad.
But before getting rid I thought I'd give them a go. So glad I did
I'd describe them both as having a definite 'Indian' flavour, some great rhythms and excellent production. Don't expect to understand a word he's saying, and don't feel bad about it - according to the sleevenotes the sound engineers didn't either, and their editing chopped bits off his lyrics, effectively making them nonsense! So he had to set them straight
I always hesitate to recommend anything to others, as my tastes can be a bit ropey at times (according to Mrs. P), but when albums can be had on CD for a couple of quid it's always worth a punt

All the more reason to post. It's by looking at "Spinning Today", that we learn what other Members are enjoying, and perhaps get introduced to something new.
