It could be 1,100 steps - the leading digit, if shown, is obscured by the minute hand.

Ha ha, I think it was 1,100 - but combined with the other smartwatch that I switched too when I got home I did around 8,000 steps which is a typical day when I don’t get the chance to actually go for a walk.

This is the other one - no ambiguity with this face!

105 bpm seems a little high - were you running? What does the '11' signify - your space invaders score?

It a 20 quid watch - I don’t think the heart rate monitor is very accurate, but running around juggling getting two kids packed lunches, uniforms, feeding the dog and hurdling car boot detritus…

And no, the ‘11’ is my PacMan score!

Whenever my heart rate is checked, it's always between high fifties and low sixties, which I think is a bit slow. But when I asked the nurse doing my blood pressure about it she said it's fine.

I got a smart watch from Anita two Christmases ago, I really should get round to setting it up. Though if it tells me I'm not doing enough it'll be going in the bin. I get enough of that already.

I'm old enough to remember when 'Steps' were just some dance group.

Someone ask me the other day how many steps I do. No idea, I measure my walking distances in miles.

No-one is interested in my Pac Man score but I was number one for a bit on the machine in the 'Golden Goose' on LLandudno pier.

That was a while back now though.

I think a typical heart rate is around 70 bpm.

I'm hypertensive, managed by medication. Occasionally I will check my BP which also displays heart rate. Mine is usually around 70.

    (Just measured it: 144/83, 60bpm)

I had to do 2 weeks BP heart rate monitoring after an MOT at the doctors - all was fine, sitting at my desk now 68 bpm.

Great PacManning there, Martin I'm impressed if no one else is!
