That's hilarious.......... Considering that Richard Hawley hasn't sold millions of albums............. Millions of Oasis fans must all be thick then ???? Try Specsavers, they do hearing tests now as well as eye tests but unfortunately haven't moved into retail food sales yet so, try Aldi or Poundstretcher for the biscuits and I'm sure you'll get a good deal there if your worried about a £1.00!! As for your CD keep it as a reminder that you may need to go to Specsavers for a tune-up (excuse the pun) !!! Have a nice day !!!

I like Oasis, I've got all their records, I've seen them live. But 'Standing On The Shoulders...' is a crap album full of turgid, plodding tunes.

As i've said loads of times, we're all different aren't we ? I think Standing On The Shoulders of Giants is a SUPERB psychedelic triumph!!!! The first 4 Oasis albums are absolutely great but, when when Oasis did Heathen Chemistry, that's when I felt the standard started to drop and, after that, it wasn't good except for the single "Shock Of The Lightning" which was bangin'!!!

I thought 'Heathen Chemistry' was a slight return to form. As you say all a personal thing.

What do you reckon to the solo stuff? Have to say I prefer Liam to Noel there although neither are dong anything great.

I dont think either of them are doing anything that's much good; as I've said in a previous post, I wish the pair of them would sort their differences out and do what the fans all want and reform Oasis. Even if they don't do any new music, just do some gigs before they get too old to do it - Liams voice seems OK at the moment from what I've seen and Noel can still sing and play OK so, do it now before it's too late!!!!

Who's Richard Hawley? I have no Richard Hawley CDs, but do I have one Oasis CD. So that should get me a place at the cool kids table

Tbh I could probably get behind the Oasis thing, except that when I hear them I just picture Liam stood there in some stupid outdoor coat looking like he's not stopping (did his mother never tell him he won't feel the benefit when he goes out?), whining up into a microphone that should be set 3" higher.

I didn't realise it was a thing, though I'd see Ian Broudie dressing similar on stage. I would call it the "Just a flying visit" look. Probably cost a fortune too, even though they were easily replicated by your average scrote about town, trying to keep warm while looking for car stereos to steal.
