Well, upon seeing people's opinions on this album (Standing At The Edge of The Sky) about it being "psychedelic," and the fact that I'd never heard of it, that kinda aroused my attention as I like things like that so, I've just got it on my streamer. The album's correct title is "Standing At The Sky's Edge."

The opening track immediately got me comparing it to tracks on Oasis's album Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants. I shall carry on and listen to the rest.

Now I've listened to the rest, I find the opening track excellent and as the album progresses it becomes slowly more mellow but still with the psychedelic edgy guitars mixed in. It's like mixing a 60's crooner with 60's psychedelia and adding a modern twist to it; overall, it was quite listenable - the opening track is definitely the one that sparked my interest the most (very Oasis like.)

If your comment was to me, I think I gave my overall opinion - "quite listenable." Not that my opinion really matters, it's down to the individual to make their own mind up but I gave my opinion out of my mutual interest in music.

Hmmm - "quite listenable" is not an overwhelming endorsement, but thanks anyway.

If the standout track is the one that sounds like Oasis, it won't do for me. Last year I bought that "Standing on the Shoulders..." CD by mistake, for someone else who turned out not to want it either. All I could do is seethe about the quid it cost me and how that money could have gone on a packet of biscuits or something.

If you ever lose or damage your copy (can happen), or somebody steals it (unlikely), you're welcome to mine
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: KEF Reference 3, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Arcam A75 integrated, Monitor Audio R852 MD speakers
    A/V:
LG OLED65 G56LS, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL T9i sub.

That's hilarious.......... Considering that Richard Hawley hasn't sold millions of albums............. Millions of Oasis fans must all be thick then ???? Try Specsavers, they do hearing tests now as well as eye tests but unfortunately haven't moved into retail food sales yet so, try Aldi or Poundstretcher for the biscuits and I'm sure you'll get a good deal there if your worried about a £1.00!! As for your CD keep it as a reminder that you may need to go to Specsavers for a tune-up (excuse the pun) !!! Have a nice day !!!
