    seems a bit lengthy. i dont use rm much these days but my coffee comes within 2 days of order. its 24hr tracked and not expensive

    It was privatised - the same as has happened to all national services that are now virtual monopolies.

    Water is a total rip off I agree. Remember when it was a tenner a year and you just paid it along with the rates?

    I'd impose stupidly expensive regulations on them, drive their share prices right down to pennies and then buy them back into public ownership.

    Privatising them was the biggest con ever.

    Compared to DHL and DPD etc they're absolute pants. Amazon are outstanding, I can order today, and it's here tomorrow. Mind you I still use the post office to send things, because I don't know how to use DHL etc for sending!!
