A GREAT BAND, WHO, JUST AS THEIR MOMENTUM WAS MOVING WELL, THE PANDEMIC SLOWED IT AND, AS A CONSEQUENCE, THEIR SINGER DIED. SINCE THEN THE BAND HAVE BEEN IN A SORT OF HIATUS - GREAT SHAME.

This group of muscians, the line up changing many times over the years, nutured the careers of many famous Jazz muscians perhaps non more famous than the legendary Quincy Jones (Trumpet, Arranger, Composer, Conductor, Band Leader, Songwritter, Record Executive and of course Producer) with a career earning him a Grammy Legend award, 28 Grammys and 80 Grammy nominations.
