I stumbled across this record in a turntable review, and did a bit of an investigation, turns out it is quite a well known live recording, in 'Jazz' circles anyway. I hunted around and came across a re-release on Amazon, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003CF0X...roduct_details.
It was originally recorded in 1976, it is very well recorded and the performance is great with a feeling of being there with the band, and some great interpretations of some classic jazz numbers. it is well worth a punt if you love jazz.

Think I've got a copy on LP somewhere. Beautifully recorded, but "Jazz Swing" is not to my taste.
In the past I have been persuaded to buy recordings which were given rave reviews in the mags: Thelma Houston "I've got the music in me' on Sheffield Labs direct cut was one. Bought it, played it but didn't like it, so gave it a friend of mine who is a bit of an audio buff.
