What, so do you find yourself doing lots of jobs for friends and family? A burden of your own making by being willing, able, and available. The only way out I can see is to get a part time job, leaving you with no time for their stuff. And at least you'll be getting paid for your effortsCan one retire from being retired? The only other way would be to play the age card, but it's a slippery slope - if you convince others you're no longer fit or strong enough, you may eventually believe it yourself. That's my fear. And it I'm honest a lot of it will be vanity. Mrs. P thinks I no longer do work on rooflines/guttering, but that's not quite true.

my daughter gets stuck in, and she is even better at getting her husband to get stuck inOh well, that's something I suppose. And more than my daughters can manage, they're both pretty hopeless. As are their respective partners.

Just finished juicing some tomatoes and then some apples.
Washed machine and it's drying in front of fan. Always leaves it streak free. Fan is on anyway as it's close again.
Good juicer it is too. It's a cold press masticator type and produces load of juice and the remains are surprisingly dry.
