Strong Opinion from a current Rega turntable user.

Get your arm repaired and fettled.
AudioOrigami rewire.

Will be an upgrade over stock Rega wiring.
From memory he uses Van Damme mic cable and Neutrik connectors, may have changed mines was many years ago.

I know Jon(J7) outside of forumland, and he's forgotten more about tonearms than most engineers know.
Back in the day when i ran a Gyrodec, I got him to rewire my Michell Technoarm (an upgraded Rega arm) and it got scarily close to my SME V that replaced it.

SME was better, yup, but "diminishing returns" better.
The Rega arm is worth saving.

I do sort of like the idea of repair rather than replace but you know…. New shiney stuff!
