vinyl record is a precious artefact again, for a long time it was old hat. Before streaming you'd buy an album and show your mates 'Look what I got', like a caveman showing off an antelope he'd hunted down. Streaming just commoditised it all, took away that intrinsic worth. But like they say in 'Starship Troopers' - 'Something given has no value.'
When you had to stack shelves for half a day to get the music you wanted to hear - and travel somewhere and back to get it - then it all meant a lot more. I think that is coming back at least to some degree.

Good points there Martin, never thought about it like that.
I buy very small amounts of vinyl nowadays as I have so much already and really don't need anymore.
But if I do buy something it has to be great music, no fillers, good production and not just a listen once or twice type of record. I use Spotify for that!
