The Green Man , 1956..
The dish on offer at the hotel towards the end, Chop Toad, is a variant on Toad in the Hole. Toad in the Hole is fried sausages, baked in a batter pudding. Chop Toad is fried pork or lamb chops baked similarly.
Both Alastair Sim and film antagonist George Cole played Scrooge (at different ages) in 1951's "A Chistmas Carol".

Me, Myself & Irene, 2000... classic slapstick this..imo the best one he did..
In the "Hank Feeds off Milf on Bench" scene, Jim Carrey was unknowingly suckling the right-nipple of Shannon Whirry's ample breasts containing real milk, he thought she was wearing a prop. Carrey explains: "It's very rare that I get to a place where I am actually kind of humiliated, but that was one of them. It was so embarrassing to me, I was like embarrassed for the girl, but she was fine with it. She was like 'Yeah, whatever.' But I was literally apologizing to her between every take. When it was time to film it, I had to empty the studio. I couldn't do it in front of anybody." This is surprisingly ironic because Carrey at other times would openly admit that he is a breast-man; while Whirry has no qualms about doing topless scenes and "wet-nursing" stunts, because ever since one year after the film's script was completed, she had been playing in over a dozen erotic films in her acting career.
In the scene where Jim Carrey is fighting with himself, Hank grabs Charlie's finger and says "Beg me or I'll break it off." Charlie's reply of "I beg I die" is taken from the movie Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995), with Jim Carrey even imitating the tone of Andy Garcia's voice.
Jim Carey did most of his own stunts.
The soundtrack is almost exclusively covers of Steely Dan songs recorded specifically for this movie.

Still don't get it, quickly became board with it, but persisted untill the end.
According to Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulhol...e_(film),David Lych intended the film to be an opening plot for a TV series. This was rejected, so he tacked on an ending which was deliberately 'open ended'. Well it shows. Having seen this film three times now (first on the big screen, and twice on TV), I'm not going to give it any more views.
"Mulholland Drive is often regarded as one of Lynch's finest works and as one of the greatest films of all time. It was ranked 8th in the 2022 Sight & Sound critics' poll of the best films ever made and topped a 2016 BBC poll of the best films since 2000." Goodness knows why.

Blithe Spirit (1945)
Although it received positive critical reviews, this movie was a box-office failure on both sides of the Atlantic, but is now widely regarded as a classic.
Based on Coward's 1941 play of the same title. At the time, it set the longest-run record for a British non-musical play at 1,997 performances. It held that record until 1957 when "The Mousetrap" surpassed it.
As with most of Noël Coward's work, this movie is renowned for its dialogue. During an argument with Ruth (Constance Cummings), Charles (Sir Rex Harrison) declares, "If you're trying to compile an inventory of my sex life, I feel it only fair to warn you that you've omitted several episodes. I shall consult my diary and give you a complete list after lunch." The line, considered extremely risqué by censors, was deleted from the U.S. release.

Not as sumptious as the 1981 TV adaptaion, but in someways better. IMO the casting of the main characters is largely better, but the film deviates from the book and is too short to do the book justice.
