    Yes to both but it does look beautiful when it's out. I don't like anything growing on the house as it eats into the brickwork and eventually cause damage as you say.

    only bit of brum ive been to was solihul(spelling?)it was quite pleasent but that was a long time ago. could be a dump now. stayed overnight in a house of a family aquaintance before flying from airport

    it was a nice house and area looked good but that was 50 yrs ago so lots could have happened... still got a friend who lives in that general area.

    I pop over there every now and again as they have a `John Lewis which is quite useful and town is very nice but it is really expensive place, London Prices for property and very good place to live because of access to the M40 to London.

    First two pages of Rightmove property search and there is nothing under £1000,000!

    We walk most days during the colder weather and these were taken on one of our usual walks. The light was good so great for photography.
