Thanks Gary, it is always great to hear other stuff but I must say I have not done enough of this since the pandemic. I do get a listen at a mates place regularly but it would be good to hear more.

I am very happy with the system I have now and to be honest it would take something very special indeed to improve almost any aspect of it. I guess the speakers could be the weakest link in the chain but they are good enough for now. To upgrade them to something better would cost a fair bit but this would be my next possible move.

If a change of speakers is on the cards, Heco's "The Statement"/"The New Statement" might be just the thing. Probably give you everything you like about the Celans, and then some.

I may go for a different brand, maybe something from Dali. The Statements did not go down too well I believe at Chris's house?
