I debated whether to bid on the 9100 as the case on mine is probably not as good as the one in the auction but decided not to bother.
I was really shocked when it only reached £53. It should have sold for about £130 +. In saying that though the price of tuners on Ebay is dropping. In the last year for instance the price Pioneer 9800s are getting has dropped from £300 to around £80ish though they still can go for around £130ish or a tad more. I won a mint 9500 mk2 for £75 myself a few months ago, I was the only bidder.
Revox and Leaks Trough-Lines still do well but other classics are also dropping off in selling price as well, though with it being an auction high prices can still occur but it does seem to be rarer now days for that to happen.
I am a sad sod in that I watch the tuner sales everyday and bookmark items to see how they do. There are a few sellers living in the past with very high BIN prices, usually their items don't sell or they eventually get the message and auction it.
There has been one particular seller trying to sell a slightly ropey Trough-Line 3 for the last year or so at £150, he recently dropped the price to £140still no sale....wise up
