I had a new battery put in a Hyundai i10 a few days ago. More than 12 years old I think, and turns out it hasn't had a new battery in that period. It would hardly start on the old battery, but didn't completely fail. Now got to deal the the Peugeot which is going to need a battery and an MOT.

As an aside, I wish somebody would shove Khan's ULEZ thuggery right up him! Lots of folk with trusty old Land Rovers and the like would see him lynched.
Do you actually travel into the LE zone? I'm guessing you have something like a trusty old Land Rover you'd like to use in that area.
    I figure you're just outside.

Re the EV drop in demand and sales - is that any more sigificant than the sales of Chelsea tractors such as Discovery Range Rovers and the like?

No. I'd like an old diesel non-turbo motor of some sort. But I have a little Suzuki that qualifies for use in the ULEZ, looks like I'll be keeping it for now.

I'm just outside the existing ULEZ zone, but in August that expands to encompass the whole area inside the M25. God help anybody who doesn't realise that they will be liable to the £12.50 daily charge each time they hit the road. I predict a lot of cheap cars for sale very soon.
