I only have one source so the selector never gets used and as you say you set volume by ear. I think the screen on the Topping looks pretty good but it's also another thing that can go wrong and I don't need it. Plus it's all a bit plasticky. Wanted something that for the long term would be a pleasure to use and look at as well as listen to.
Next step will replace the CD transport with something a bit more flash looking and that isn't slot loading because that irritates me a bit.

I think they are still going but those two players are from about 20 years ago. There's nothing much new about that I like the look of.
