I am rather impressed with this re-release/remix, musically it has always been a favourite of mine but I always found the original release both on vinyl and CD somewhat bland and in paces muddled, just as if the mix was masking aspects of the recording. This new release on vinyl completely changes that, to use the old cliche as if a veil has been lifted from in front of the speakers, a match more open soundstage and more engaging. There have been some mixed reviews about the pressing quality but mine is near perfect.

2018 remix? 2022 release? They took their time! Should be good, they've had it long enough. If the changes are enough to warrant changing the sleeve art, they should be significant. I'll put this on my Christmas wish list - I bought the 2016 reissue, and I'm not a fan of the SQ.Originally Posted by AJSki2fly

I did fancy getting it on vinyl some time ago, but pressing quality was widely panned at the time, and being out of print, prices were through the roof. Couple of months ago at a record fair I saw an early pressing with a 300 quid price tag
I already have it on CD, which is perfectly good, but I could be persuaded towards the vinyl if SQ was right.
