Only played some of this, not really a fan of their early stuff.

Bit of research shows it to be rare(ish) 3rd press, as the one in this pic. But mine is in much better shape. Mrs. P telling me I should sell it, but I just can't do it.

SUPERB GREATEST HITS ALBUM!!! I ALWAYS PREFERRED THE POLICE'S SINGLES TO THE OTHER STUFF ON THEIR ALBUMS!!

Good grief Barry, my head hurts! I thought I'd done well pinning it down to being a third press. The info I know of on my copy I have highlighted, I'll have to look again to check the other details.

I have no plans to sell it anyway, it's just seeing all those tatty examples at the record fair that piqued my interest. I think i need only Sgt, Peppers and Revolver to complete my vinyl (have those on CD). And only the first five albums are original sixties ones, all the others recent reissues.

I would never have any interest in paying silly money for something just because someone had printed "Made in Clacton" on the label in 8pt. Helvetica instead of 9/10pt Univers or some similar nonsense but I suppose some people are, and they're out there.

Haha - you really need to look at the matrix number pressed between the locked runout groove and the label, to find out exactly which version you have.

When you have done that - you can sell it to me: I'll give you £3.50 (including postage) for it!
