I got a mate who always buys old bangers but he still regularly takes them to the hand car wash and pays for the full service.

His latest has a couple of wheel trims missing and the plastic headlamp covers are all fogged over but the car is still gleamingly clean. I don't really get that.

These guys are good. Use different sponges for different areas and they always look new. Hard workers I will say that too.

We don’t have that in this area, they are hard working but they use the same sponge from car to car

Nice short drive today. Was a mix of motorway, A roads and town work, so a standard type of run. Did just under 12 miles so not far but the mpkwh is really quite revealing now weather is a bit warmer and my one pedal driving gets better.

    See screenshot.

5.92 equates to over 370m per charge... impressive.

My brother has just ordered a Kona, on lease.
They wanted an ID3, but there is a delay of about a year for one of those.

    Good looking car.

I washed my car yesterday, including the alloy wheels (not difficult), but the thought occured to me - why do the vast majority of alloy wheels have five (or sometimes ten) spokes? Is it a simple matter of strenght to weight ratio?
