I wasn't aware of the TV thing you mention, I just heard one of the songs from the album a couple of times on the radio and liked it. So far it still is the only song I like, but Having heard the album just twice it may yet grow on me.What do you think of this Sting recording?
I have to confess it doesn't do much for me, but that might be due to the fact that I thought it was a recording of a pop/rock 'opera' I saw on TV a few months ago, written by Sting about the rise and fall of shipbuilding he grew up with in Newcastle. Of the several artists performing in this broadcast was Jimmy Nail.
I was so impressed by the show, I immediately went on-line to buy what I thought was a recording. My mistake!No doubt I will find more in it that I will like upon further listening.
