Some older friends gave me their small but pristine record collection today, as they not had a system to play them on for over 30 years. This boxed set is a mix of dance bands from the era and it has some rather good tracks and bands, Readers Digest did release some rather good compilations back in the day. Some tracks I recall hearing from my parent collection and from old movies we used to watch ion a Sunday in the 60's when I was a lad.

Interesting to hear Frank singing early in his career in the 40's, he certainly knew how to make it sound effortless and as if he was singing just for the listener.
