Blame It on the Bellboy, 1992. A bit of a farce, but fairly enjoyable at that. Decent cast, but a weak script. It has Patsy Kensit, Alison Steadman and Penelope Wilton in it too so a bonus. the former is in her prime, and the latter 2 are always good. alas it also has dudley in it

The title is a bit of a misnomer as broken arrow does not mean 'lost or stolen nuke' as such. that is empty quiver. broken arrow means 'a nuclear weapon accident that does not create the risk of a nuclear war'.

Christian Slater did almost all of his own stunts and gave up smoking to prepare.

The main characters in the film are wearing Breitling Aerospace watches with quartz movement and titanium casing.

28 Weeks Later, 2007. This one was directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo as Danny Boyle was busy on Sunshine





Danny Boyle has not discounted the possibility of a third installment. The working title is 28 Months Later, and would move the story on even further. But writer Alex Garland is a little more cynical: "I'll be honest. When we made 28 Days Later (2002), the rights were frozen between people who no longer talk to one another. And so, the film will never happen unless those people start talking to each other once again. There is no script as far as I'm aware."

Clint Eastwood has said of this movie's development: "I was sent the script by the production team at Castle Rock and I liked it immediately. It was written by William Goldman, who is one of the best screenwriters around. He had nicely tightened up the story from the book to fit into a movie format, while keeping the characters well defined and interesting people."

The hospital scenes were filmed using the set for ER (1994).

Star Trek, Insurection, 1998. Directed by Jonathan Frakes.





When Data is malfunctioning, Capt. Picard gets him to recite W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan's "H.M.S. Pinafore". In the Isaac Asimov story "Runaround", a malfunctioning robot recites Gilbert and Sullivan while evading capture by his human masters. Much of Data's character is taken from Isaac Asimov's writings (such as Data's "Positronic Net", adapted from Asimov's "Positronic" brains).

Although several of the cast members of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) have directed various episodes of the series, Jonathan Frakes is the only cast member from the series to direct any of the "Next Generation"-related films. He directed this one and Star Trek: First Contact (1996).

The film's themes of religious satire were controversial at the time of its release, drawing accusations of blasphemy and protests from some religious groups. Thirty-nine local authorities in the United Kingdom either imposed an outright ban, or imposed an X (18 years) certificate. It was banned in Ireland, for about 8 years - In Malaysia it was banned because of blasphemous content. In Norway it was banned due to jokes deemed offensive to religious people. In Sweden the film was allowed for release and even screened with the tagline "The film so funny that it got banned in Norway"

When Michael Palin as Pontius Pilate addressed the soldiers daring them to laugh, he was truly daring them. The soldier extras were ordered to stand there and not laugh, but not told what Palin was going to do. Palin, in fact, can barely stifle his own laughter when saying "Biggus Dickus" in front of the soldier asked if he finds the name "risible".
