    After the Beatles split up, I followed the careers of John Lennon and of George Harrison. For some reason I paid little interest to that of Paul McCartney, and none whatsoever to that of Ringo.

    Of the little that I have heard from Paul McCartney, 'Band on the Run' is the only one that might tempt me.

    I do have "Venus and Mars" and used to quite like that. But I bet it's 30 years since I last played it. Also have a best of called "All the Best" which gets occasional play. I like that one. I think he's done some great tunes over the years, just a shame he seems to be widely regarded as a bit of a knob.
