Kilimanjaro? Now that's impressive... on a lot of people's bucket lists I believe. The altitude would be a problem for many too.And the north side of the island falling into the sea is predicted to set up a tidal wave which will travel across the Atlantic and destroy most of the eastern seaboard of the USA.
On a less dramatic note, I have climbed Mout Kilimanjaro in Kenya, which is a dormant volcano. Despite the snow at the top, if you dig down with your hand to the soil beneath, it is warm. Picked up a piece of pumice and obsidian whilst there; both are created by volcanic activity

the Ioniq is a nice car, although headroom is a little lower at doors. its also quite expensive for decent spec in comparison th the Kona. Kona of course isn't an ev design, but an ICE one originally, so its all the more encouraging that it gets such a good range(especially in warmer weather) where you can if you try get fairly close to 300... some have had over that.

I agree, I was horrified at the thought when they first announced it, having loved (most) classic Mustangs and the recent revival, but it does look better than I thought it would.

porsche are doing evs too now. its gonna be the future i think whether we should like idea or not, so might as well climb aboard. TBH there isnt much difference when driving, bar engine noise etc.

except a lot of people like changing gear. Automatic transmission never really caught on here no matter how good they eventually became.
I suppose up and coming drivers will learn in evs and go on to drive them and will never encounter a manual.

they are popular now, but we get charged too much extra for them and it puts folk off. yes i think future drivers will probably not sit manual tests, but it will take a while yet for that.
of course technically an ev doesnt have an auto box. doesnt have any gears
