Neither have I - it wasn't as if Zappa preferred vinyl over any other medium. In fact he embraced digital recording, mixing and editing from the word go.

My plan used to be to collect his entire catalogue, but gave up on that idea years ago, it's not like I'm a massive fan or anything.
You will have quite a challenge: at least 120 studio albums and 15 compilation albums!

Maybe it's the sleeve art, maybe it's what I grew up with, maybe it's the "collector" in me. Could be worse, Mrs. P collects "Now" CDs and coins, which do nothing but just hide away in drawers.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: KEF Reference 3, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Arcam A75 integrated, Monitor Audio R852 MD speakers
    A/V:
LG OLED65 G56LS, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL T9i sub.

    Great stuff!

Master of The Universe is an absolute killer track.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
