Signed up to a new 2 year fixed deal with my current provider in the summer, one proviso was I had a smart meter installed. No problem, arranged the date, booked the day off, and despite the confirmation emails, no one turned up, and then the day after I get an email to say they couldn’t make it due to unforeseen circumstances and could I call them back to rearrange... no apology no attempt to contact me. Suffice to say I will be playing hard to get!

I wonder how watch collectors cope?
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Might do a bit of gift-shopping later. I can't believe how quickly we're moving towards Christmas. I miss Audio Al and his 365 day Advent calendar.

another ball-ache we could all do without. I think we should have a lockdown at Xmas whether covid is still a problem or not.

My autos all need winding and setting before I wear them anyway, quartz ones will be reset when I next wear each one [emoji846].
