Anyone keen on watches?

Had a new battery fitted yesterday. It doesn't get much use as I only wear it with a dinner jacket.

Do you pull the crown out to conserve the battery when not in use Barry?

Just tried, and the second sweep had has stopped. Again thanks Roy for that tip.

I would have just left the battery to run down and rely on Timpsons lifetime supply. But better still would be to wear the watch more often - you don't see that many square or rectangular case watches worn these days. Or those with a leather strap.

Effectively switches the watch off and not too onerous a task to reset the hands on a nice simple design like your Bulova.

I use the Timpsons Lifetime Guarantee scheme for the batteries for our digital watches (all two of them).

Funny isn't it when you get a guarantee things tend to work a lot better...
