doesnt matter what snp want, the eu wont take scotland on in any terms suitable if at all. im british; i was born british and always will be, but im scottish too

if you think about how independence for Scotland is important to you then maybe you can understand how independence from the EU is important to others.

Independence for Scotland would also be a rocky road full of unknowns, but I don't think that would stop you voting for it.

Yes, I get your analogy, which makes perfect sense. Trouble is, I'm not passionate about the EU in the same way as I am about Scottish independence. As I've said before, I'm first and foremost Italian, then Scottish, then British, and so in order of importance, those are my priorities.

However, for others I realise it's different. Oh, and yes, I'd certainly vote for Scottish independence, but the SNP would need a new leader first, as I'd never vote for Nicola 'Vaccine Passports' Sturgeon!!

If those abominations to civil liberty ever become more widely used, and an 'accepted norm' in UK society, we'll know who to blame for starting the ball rolling.
