You often link to a homepage of some restaurant you visited, without showing what you ate My link to dealership's homepage was for anyone who might be considering a change of car. As I said before, i was surprised to see my car still there...

God forbid there should be gratuitous pics of random nice cars for sale on this thread And talking about my change of car turning into yet another argument pees me off just a little Still, I'm about to have me tea, that always cheers me up. Just don't ask what I'm having, I really haven't the energy.

And me! You and I often seem to have an incompatible style of written communication, resulting in frequent disputes and misunderstandings, and I've no idea why...

The way I read it, we were discussing the new car you'd bought, then you said "here it is", so unsurprisingly I was expecting to be taken directly to a pic of your car. However, perhaps you meant, 'here is the dealer', in which case, that's fine. However, you can appreciate why I thought what I did.

You then had a dig at my IT skills, when I said that I was looking at something quite different from you, and you subsequently stating that my computer must've been broken, which was rather cheeky and uncalled for, especially when I hadn't done anything wrong!

When I was looking for a new car and at the Brabster (before you joined AoS), I posted links directly to the cars concerned, on the website of the relevant dealers, as I was asking for some opinions, so wanted to make it as easy for folks as possible to see exactly what I was looking at.

Also, it's not at all uncommon for dealers to leave cars that have been sold on their websites for a while afterwards (sometimes even a couple of days), until they get the chance to delete them, which indeed was the case with the Brabster, and also your car. Therefore, I was surprised you weren't aware of that practice and then called your dealers lazy sods... Plus, I was surprised that you hadn't checked beforehand if your car was still listed, as indeed I'd have done.

Anyway, I'm not getting into another argument, as like you, I'm getting rather fed up having discussions with you, about various things, and it ending this way, for whatever reason, especially when I'm very careful to explain myself clearly. So there should be no margin for error, yet with you there nearly always is, and I'm sure in that respect the feeling is mutual.

Therefore, I suggest we leave it there and move on, and perhaps give each other a bit of space for a while, as this isn't fun and doing neither of us any favours.

I'll tackle your first point first... If you were to look back, you'd see me saying that I'd try to post a link to the dealer's website. In my next post I said 'here it is', and included the link. I didn't say there was a pic of my car as i didn't expect it to still be on there. The i looked at the link myself, saw my car was still there, and so i told you which page it was on. But you didn't know how to find that page. So I said you might be even worse than me with links (not possible!) I wouldn't call that a dig, but hey ho...

Yeah, totally. I just thought that when you were going to link to the dealer's website, it would be directly to your car, on said website. Otherwise, what would be the point, simply to be met with a homepage, not containing any pics of your car...

Cool as fuck! I'd probably fit fatter-assed wheels and tyres on it, but it hits the spot for both of us in many ways!

So, that's now in the running for her new set of wheels, but she WANTS it in a girlier colour

yeah pricy... was looking at merc site. the gla suv is available on motability, although not sure which models. quite a nice motor but likely i will go with something cheaper. a kona or a 2008, or maybe a skoda suv. vw tiguan too is an option. bmw x1 might just be too rich as well..
