Well it was designed by Porsche. An interesting design for a 'bubble car', but obviously not as iconic as the Volkswagen 'Beetle'.It's basically a rip-off of the Zundapp 'Janus' from the 1950s. Only uglier and with missing wheel trims.

If you want a vintage three wheeler, there's only one choice for me. The Berkeley T60 with the 328cc Excelsior two stroke twin engine, they sounded good with a whine like an early SAAB two stroke car.

IMO Reliant Robin 3-wheelers, with the steered wheel at the front are always going to be less stable than designs having two wheels at the front. But I could prove to be wrong.
BTW I only cited the Messershmitt, in reply to Martin's comment about the Citroen looking like something out of an Orwellian nightmare. The Messershmitt was used in Terry Gilliam's film 'Brazil', which is set in a dystopian, Orwellian universe.
