Give you an excuse to wear them goggles in public without getting all those funny looks. Just think - you could fit a sidecar and put the dog in it, also wearing goggles

Not sure about that. The Panther Model 100 was a bugger to kick-start, nose heavy and slow, sounded good though. A mate had one.

If I was 14 and had been given the 'car', I would have been delighted.

It's very difficult to design 'city cars' to look stylish. Perhaps the Italians might be able to do it. But to have the ability to park in tight spaces and not take up too much space, they will all tend to to look squat and boxy - and hence ugly.

When I was fourteen I was delighted to get a club biscuit. You'd have to be an unimaginably spoilt teenager not to be delighted with it. It's just way uglier than it needs to be. It looks like someone has nicked the wheel trims for a start.

Look at the front of it. It looks like the car everyone would be driving in some sort of awful Orwellian future.

I'm surprised it doesn't have 'bumpers'. That's how the French park their cars in the Paris side streets - they see a possible space, bump gently into the car in front, pushing it forward a couple of inches, then reverse and do the same for the car behind, repeating the process until they have room to park.

Everything about the Citroen EV is designed to make it cheap to manufacture; identical doors; front and back panels essentially the same; and the lack of wheel trim. I would expect the interior to be equally Spartan. However I'm not sure if I would want to pay £5,000 for one.
