had a dream last night - went into the post office to get a first class stamp and a Twix.

Richard Hammond was behind the counter. I said to him this must be a bit of a come-down for you, working in a post office. He said yes, it is bit.

He then proceeded to charge me the wrong amount and got confused over the change.

I thought he must be filming but I couldn't see any cameras and there was no sign of Clarkson or May.

He probably charged you the right amount, it just seemed expensive. A first class stamp and a Twix aren’t what they were in the 90s but I suppose that was 30 years ago now. I picked up a packet of Polo mints in the garage a couple of years ago and they were something like 75p, couldn’t believe it, used to be 15p

I've no idea what a stamp costs, or a Twix for that matter. I don't recall ever buying a stamp. I'd guess a Twix is about 80p?

Nope a shirt and a waistcoat.

I'm pretty sure I don't have a thing for Richard Hammond but then I'm pretty sure I don't have a thing for the post office so why I'd dream about either is anyone's guess.

Might just be my subconscious telling me I want a Twix.

Pretty typical of dreams though isn't it? I mean it could populate the dream with anyone, a young Gina Lollobrigida for example. But no, I get Richard Hammond.

And a 'Jamboree Bag' was tuppence!

They were cheap and nasty. They should bring them back, they'd fit in well with the cheap, nasty world we now occupy!
