    These are the questions going through my mind, car-wise:
    • Is the UK ready for (new) EV only from 2030?
    • Are non-EVs likely to loose all their value the closer we get to 2030?
    • Will the cost of fuel become non-tenable for most after 2030?
    • Is it time to buy that V8 ..?

    It's pie in the sky but it keeps the green lobby happy. Well, not happy, they won't be happy until we're all back living in the bushes and eating berries, but it softens their cough a bit.

    Buy a V8.

    Just buy an old pre DPF and non turbo diesel, spend a few quid rustproofing it and stop worrying.

    There'll be a rush to buy new ICE vehicles before they are unavailable I predict. Prices could go up..
