Exactly, so then we're not talking about a shortage of food, simply delivery slots!
And if all the fat, lazy bastards (who are otherwise healthy) would get off their backsides and shop in store, leaving delivery slots for those most in need of them, then there wouldn't be a problem!
Marco.

Hopefully the supermarkets can find a way to prioritise somehow.

There were shortages of some items on the Tesco site this morning. I noticed while placing my (three week away) order, I expect some will be anticipating a rush and are stockpiling. No doubt this will become even more evident if lockdown is announced.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
It's ridiculous though, Geoff. As far as I'm concerned, supermarket deliveries are the reserve of the old or infirm - *no-one else* should be using them!
I wouldn't dream of it, not just because I'd be depriving a slot for someone who needs it, but because as a fit and healthy person I'd be too embarrassed to. A bit like dressing up as an old man just to get a free bus pass!
Marco.

We sometimes have home deliveries via Amazon; but frankly I hate supermarkets and so does Rose.
We order via Amazon - who are here every day anyway.
Woo hoo! Sue's just told me "BJ at 8pm"! And on a Monday, too!
