Just what goes through my mind when my wife, or daughters, buy something that I don't understand . (does that make sense?)

I know that feeling mate, and the lack of 'understanding'! It kicks in most during the odd occasions I'm there when she's underwear shopping

That's why she generally prefers doing it on her own or with her mates

Yeah exactly like that, with bare legs and no socks, which again is apparently the fashion. I agree it's a cute look. She normally wears tights with dresses and skirts (with normal flats or heels), but seemingly it's different story with trainers in the equation!

I suggested otherwise [just to wear her normal very thin skin-colour ones] and she said NOoooooooo, most emphatically, tutted and laughed out loud! Good job I'm not a women's fashion consultant!![emoji38]

Haha... Not really a fuddy-duddy, just have to remember that she's younger. By sock liners, did you mean trainer socks? I've seen her wear those before, but seemingly with trainers bare feet is the 'thing' (no socks). Socks are considered as 'wrong'.

Depends on person and trainers really. Some come with liners. There are half ankles, ankles and if a really short skirt is worn, I've seen long ones worn successfully.
But it's ultimately a personal choice and as much how good legs you have.
Good that she still likes to look young. That's the spirit.

Yups, plus she also looks younger than she is [and as you know acts like it, too]. Her teenage girl students think that she's still in her 30s, and she refuses to spoil their illusion!

Lol... They do often comment though on her 'cool style' and that they'd like to dress like her when they grow up!

But yes, with being small and slim (decent legs too, yeah I'd better say that), she doesn't mind showing them off.

That's what I said, but apparently it's not a consideration. Plus, let's just say she's not a fan of wearing footwear unless she really *needs* to, so the trainers will be kicked off at the first opportunity!
