MacArthur 1977, starring Gregory Peck in the eponymous role as American General of the Army Douglas MacArthur.
The film portrays MacArthur's life from 1942, before the Battle of Bataan in World War II, to 1952, after he had been removed from his Korean War command by President Harry Truman.

Anything with Diana Quick in it is worth watching.
The adaptations of Tom Sharpe's books to the small screen have all been done well: 'Porterhouse Blue' and 'Blott on the Landscape'. I would love to see screenplays written for 'The Throwback' and for the South African books: 'Riotous Assembly', 'Indecent Exposure'.
