I'm Nobody.
Some people must inhabit a different planet to me:

Think I paid about £50 for mine, mint with original user/servicing booklet.
Now, this is much more interesting, but not at that price:

Na not Superficial.. Influence is a bad thing Dave
The other 33 had all it's Elco caps swapped for the superb Panasonic 'FC'..If you can live without the switch on the '33' volume pot, a pot change is a vast improvement..I prefer to keep all original functions & just enjoy if i can..
CS Port TAT2 - Benz LPS - Funkfirm Houdini - DS Audio Vinyl Ionizer - CS Port C3EQ - Kondo G70 - Kondo Gakuoh II - Maxonic TW1100 MKII - Isol-8 SubStation Integra
I'm toying with the Dada cap kit, which replaces those old ERO/Elco (or similar) caps B&O and Naim used by the hundred and raises the rail voltage to 16V (which seems a good thing on the face of it, although I'm suspicious tbh). The thing was serviced in 1982 (when it was under 5 years old) and it looks as though the volume pot and some mother-board dry joints were attended to.
Like you, I love the appearance of the 33/FM2/FM3, which was completely overshadowed in the 70's "bling" era.....
I can't go on and I can't go back, I don't feel so matter of fact,
I tried and tried to make good sense, What's the good to try it all again?
