I must say the touch looks like a brill product. I have been watching videos on youtube about it and it does seem like a very very good product - assuming the SQ is up there where it need to be.

Well I've been stuck in LA for the last two weeks (aaaaahhhhhh! I hear you say) and I'm itching to try the new touch. I hope to be on a flight in 3hrs time, good news after all this time.......still it allowed me to get a new iPad ahead of the UK launch

Well I can say the Touch sounds better than either my Arcam or CD94 playing through my Audio Note dac,so yes,it's a pretty good souding device.

I am considering a Touch in next couple of months. I see a lot of posts on the Touch but most seem to be using an external dac so would be nice to see more on the Touch used direct. I would like to know if its analogue outputs playing lossless files will be better than my Arcam CD73. I only have access to the dac in the Onkyo and when I tried digital out from the CD73 it was not as good especially in the sound stage.

    Hi Paul

I think it sounds pretty nice, I haven't heard the CD73 so cant comment. The Touch is a good product, and will get better as the developers correct some of the minor glitches.

I would order one online and compare, if you really don't like it send it back.

Its your opinion that matters most
