Nah, I read it on forums all the time, and hear folks taking about it in real life. Not so much on here, though.
Too many people get married to the wrong person, so other than any brats they've spawned, don't have anything else in common! Or end up with someone who's ultimately just all out for themselves. That's the big problem, and why in so many marriages, once the 'honeymoon period' has worn off, which these days often only lasts months, couples grow apart and often end up hating each other.
That's what happens when you rush into things and get too caught up on the 'I must make sure I have a wife and kids, otherwise I'm a failure' thing, and so settle for anything
Plus, too many men are simply looking for a replacement for their mother, which is even sadder!! I'm happy with my own company too, but only up to a point. I still look forward to Del coming home from work and ensuring that there's a nice cup of tea and/or glass of wine/cocktail waiting for her, and in this weather, her hot-water bottle!
