never watched a silent for years.. my Grandad had 3 cinemas that showed silents tho.. he sold up when the talkies came in as he couldnt afford the equipment..true story .. They were all in Fife. He wasnt a great businessman tho and often let poor folk in for free.Originally Posted by Marco
