Surely the thermometer is in backwards. It's usually the bulb end that has to sense the temperature.
I believe you have been given a bum steer, the fart temperature is probably a lot higher

I find it more confusing to refer to a non-binary person as "they". In what way are they plural? The third person singular is either 'he', 'she' or 'it'.
