    A few gigs and little fests planned for this year already.

    March - Steven Wilson at Sage Gateshead. 3rd time seeing him, always a fabulous show.

    June - Roger Waters at Glasgow SSE (in association with Scottish Mafia)

    July - Woodland Gathering Festival, Cumbria. Mostly leftfield elevtronic/noise/industrial stuff...headlined by Godflesh, my main reason for going.

    July - The Cure at BST Hyde Park. Not normally a fan of the corporate day fest but with these, Slowdive, Ineterpol and Ride on the bill I had to get a ticket. About 25 of us going from the NE so a big Geordie day out in the smoke.

    Sept - Lindisfarne festival. Small up and coming fest in Northumberland I've been to the last few years. Acts like Levellers, Ferocious Dog etc.

    Plus more gigs for my own band and work lighting local bands than i can think of right now. Anyway, live music is what its all about ain't it.

    Some people have no idea what they're doing and a lot of them are really good at it.

    It's a belter of an album Gaz, I'm a big Sturgill fan. Saw him a couple of years ago in London and that was quite a night.

    For me this classic picture sums up how his new album sounds, I love it;

    And it's definitely not country!
