Not sure what they cost but that's likely to be top model. The model below is better value imo.
Yes you get radar, camera, every gadget you can name.
1.8l engine plus a battery train.

Great motor. I won't be happy giving mine back

This article published today - https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/e...e0c7a622eba0ce - claims that some electric cars are effectively cheaper than roughly equivalent petrol models in about 2 years. On the other hand some other models never really recover from the initial price hike. One, it is suggested, would take over 11 years for that to happen, by which time it might have fallen apart.

It's the choice of people who don't understand the meaning of the word 'Mini' Anita likes a good moan as much as the next person, and I certainly give her plenty to whinge about. But I always get some respite whenever she hears a Bjork song, or sees a woman with hair extensions or other false bits, or a BMW Mini. She loved her old 60s/70s Mini partly because they were mini, and the bigger the new stuff becomes, the angrier she gets!

Grant, the C-HR in question was the top spec one as it turned out. Surprised to hear the C-HR is coming off Motability, it was still being advertised at our dealership. I suppose Anita could go for that option, but we like getting the cash

My friend's wife got a Berlingo on Motability about 3 years ago, had it for 18 months then they took it off her. It left her with no car and she had to get a loan to buy another. She appealed and eventually the appeal was upheld, and her Motability resumed. But she decided bollocks to having a nice car that they can take back whenever they feel like it, she'll take the cash too.

If they do they do. If you didn't have the car they would just take the money so its horses.
I took a car as I needed one at time. In 2 years I will see if I'm still fit to have another.
I just looked on the toyota site and motability site and its not there.
I know when I got mine there were none on Rd around here really.

Thing is Grant, if you have cash option and run a car, and they take the cash away, you tighten your belt or sell your car for something cheaper. If they take your car it leaves you carless till you sort out something. I believe about 8 or 9 out of 10 appeals are upheld, but it's still worth the benefits people doing this as some folk will just give up trying. So that's a bit of money saved. That's my theory anyway.

Completely agree! But vintage Minis simply aren't practical as an everyday car on today's roads... Del would love an original Fiat 500, and that's even smaller than a Mini, but that falls into the exact same impractical category.

I'd rather have a Mini Clubman though, than most of today's soulless/generic-shaped, boring as hell SUVs!

Was a nice, new red clubman in front of me yesterday. Had a white roof I think and a bit of chrome detailing.
Nice motor but looked a little low for likes of me, although it was just an Impression. Quite quick too.
