This boxed set was given to me by a dealer as a freebee, it is missing record 1 unfortunately, but the 2 AND 3 are in excellent condition. I pop one of them on when I feel like having a relaxing listen to some Mozart. TBH I get quite confused as to which symphony is which, Mozart wrote so many. I would agree that these recording have a better sound to them. I also think the orchestra must have been rather well mic'd up. The separation of parts of the orchestra I found is pretty good, whereas on some other classical recordings I can find it not so obvious.
