EDIT: just listened again at my desk, and while I haven't looked at Ellington's bandmates for this record, the unmistakable sound of Paul Gonsalves comes through. Especially on Pie Eyes Blues. Amazing player. Can't think of another sax player who has the unique signature that he does.
