So in the space of a week I’ve learned that Jamo do in fact make some very good speakers and contrary to my previous beliefs the Americans have made at least one superb amp.

There are nice American amps. Admittedly quite a few have words like Pass or Levinson written on them.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I too like the blue light to illuminate the listening room at night. It kinda sets the mood. I do believe the Mac solid state amps are made differently from most solid states. More like a tube amp with transistors in it. Or so it seems from the outside? They’ve got quite the following, that much I do know.
