So here's the answer to the question I thought I already new the answer to before I bought the Rocket Fausto.
Does it grind coffee any better than the Ascaso i-mini?

The answer, as I expected, is no, not really. So if you have a decent burr grinder, it is probably job done.

Sure the Rocket is way better built, looks a lot nicer, has better grind control, can hold more beans, is targeted at the commercial market so can handle large throughput with little effort with timed grinding etc. But does it make better coffee? Marginal, I reckon, at best.

interesting.... if your only grinding a little then i guess its not going to give hugely different results then. might be regularly more accurate tho
