You are forgetting that coffee from a Moka pot is generally stronger than an espresso though, as the water is in contact with the coffee for longer. To me, it makes little difference if you have the Crema from an espresso in a latte or not. Crema is not the best tasting part of an espresso.

I know where you are coming from though, as my Bialetti Moka pot was used for years to make a decent coffee. I have two of them, both are about 30 years old.

I am also tempted to try pour over, as it looks nice too!

I'm a big fan of pour over, especially if you have really complex beans, seems to be able to get the best out of them.

A very different experience to espresso mind you and some reckon too much fuss, but that's all part of it. It's also inexpensive compared to an espresso machine. I normally try new roasts with a pour over first, I find it thearuptic and perfect for my tastes as a 'nothing added' person.

Caffe Latte is pretty much a national drink to Italians, and made with a Moka Pot. Even if its not espresso(it usually gets called and espresso maker) it still makes a caffe Latte. Totally different thing.

Sorry, I'm the complete opposite of a plain eater!! I also like to be adventurous. Hence why I don't really 'do' things like sandwiches...

You cant just have sheep sandwiches you need mint sauce or onion sauce with it , Also the wool needs removing and its arse needs cleaning

Lol - I completely agree. A good sandwich, made with quality bread (the most important element for me) and a top-notch filling (Del makes a lovely Coronation chicken, which is one of my favs), is a wonderful thing, but it's not something I tend to have often, out with of the summer months, as I prefer a proper cooked hot meal.

I like salads too, but only in the summer. Just my personal preference
