2 Cats and a KEF.

Bobo (ginger) and Roley (brown & white) relaxing to some classical music.
11 or 12 years old now , we got them from Cats Protection about 14 months ago after their owner died.
Bobo settled in quickly, Roley is far more timid and is still slowly settling in.

This is the friendliest to humans of any cat I have known.

The last one treated humans with utter disdain if not fed when required. But generally, he was superior to humans and it was totally obvious he thought so. You were his bitch, his slave, at his command etc etc. That cat had almost post 6 year old human intelligence. Or so it seemed.

This one isn't anywhere near as clever.

Bobo looks like a British Short Hair? We’ve had 3 and they can be quite big pussies, and very nice cats.

Very sorry to hear that you lost your Bullmastiff, we lost our previous Irish Setter the same way, Mollie was only 6.

We have been very careful with Harry, not feeding to soon to exercise before or after, 2 smaller meals, one in morning, one in evening, we wet his dry food over night and he has 50/50 with meat, also feed him so his bowl is at a raised height. Vet said they really don't know what causes it, but more prevalent in large deep chested dogs. When I got home Harry had managed to open the bedroom door and had naughtily been playing with the scatter cushions, I suspect he was rolling about and twisted his stomach. The vet said that in the 20 minutes it took them to get him ready he had deteriorated, and another 30 minutes and he would not have made it. Anyway he is doing well now, we are just trying to keep him calm so he recovers well from a big op.

I think you're right Adrian, in fact they both look like British Shorthairs. They have very distinctive faces, wide, short muzzles and lovely full ears. My little Mia is a British Shorthair cross Bengal, makes for a normally quiet and gentle cat but sometimes a whirlwind of manic fur running riot. I wouldn't change her for the world.
